![]() Here you are put in control of entire processes, going from farm to fork pretty much. ![]() In those winter months, one of the other new features that works brilliantly is that of supply chains. For that reason, if you’re completely new to the genre, Farming Simulator 22 might just be a little off-putting, if only as there is so much to learn. The thing is, after that hour the game instantly stops holding your hand and throws you off into the wilderness. You are also shown how to sell crops, store items, and make more money. Here you are shown how to plow, reap and sow your fields with some lovely machines, and even how you can then pay workers to do it all for you when you get tired of the graft. When you decide on the look of your farmer and what map (out of three) you want to start in, you are then given a tutorial one that takes just under an hour to run, as it explains the basics of the gameplay. Let us start by talking about the Career mode first of all. It’s his daughter and it’s this whole sequence which gets you right in the mood for some farming action. At the same time, a young female farmer is experiencing all this as he narrates. (Note: This Summer - we are clearing a Site on this side of Lake that is more secluded which will become our new Site #4 - its a work in progress).Farming Simulator 22 opens with a huge cinematic, one that is narrated by a grizzled American farmer talking about the highs and lows of the job. This spot is near the entrance to small lake so could have some traffic during daylight hours. Our friends who have a VW Van easily drive out to the Mound Area. This spot is easily accessible with an SUV or Truck. This is my favorite spot on the property to enjoy morning coffee. There's a fire pit, fire pit grill, small round table and wooden chair located on the site. Located behind the Grassy Knoll Area is a planted Field (Rotates out between Soy Beans and Corn) The site is in a sunny area - lots of trees surround lake so shade is available but it's primarily a sunny site - and quite the blessing to wake up and watch the morning unfold on the lake - Great area to throw out that line. Knoll Campsite #4 - This site on a small knob overlooking our Small Lake - This site is in full sun. Access to East Fork Lake Horse and Hiking Trails and nearby is East Fork Lake State Park Boat Dock for Boats, Canoes and Kayaks 2 Lakes on Property for Fishing and Kayak or Canoe Use (Note: We do not provide Kayaks or Canoes and request life jackets are used in lakes) Picnic Table, Fire Pit, and Fire Pit Grill are available. Wooded Campsite #3 - Secluded view of small lake camping alongside our small lake. Note: Life Jackets are required for Lake Farm Lake use. (Note: We do not provide Kayaks or Canoes). The farm has access to East Fork Lake Hiking/Horse Trails and view of the Small Lake and quick stroll to the Large Lake which is great for a family to enjoy kayaking or canoe. You can park right next to barn so easily accessible. Picnic Table and Large Fire Pit is available and Charcoal grill in the Gathering Area. Trees Available for a Clothesline. Feel free to utilize the trees for hammocks. If two families or a group of friends come to camp together, we have designated this large area for two campsites so you have plenty of room. If a single family books one of these sites, I will block Campsite #2 on my calendar, so another group won't be close to you. Our portable toilet is located on the back side of the barn.Ĭampsite 1 and Campsite 2 - Central Area - Nearest Sites to Gathering Place Ideal Sites for Families and Small Groups. This spot is where my own family and friends camped for years. In fact, we still camp in this area from time to time. At Lake Farm, we provide a Gathering Place with Charcoal Grill, Large Fire Pit and Outdoor Dining Table(s) in front of the Barn. The camping area is surrounded by woods and large pine trees are scattered around the sites providing plenty of shade. Other nearby parks and water activities are located just 30 minutes away on the Ohio and Little Miami Rivers. If you are a water sports person, our campsites are perfect for a weekend on East Fork Lake. East Fork's Horse/Hiking - Perimeter Trail is accessible from our property. Our farm neighbors East Fork Lake State Park where there are many opportunities for hiking, biking, horseback riding, kayaking, hunting and fishing, and birding. If you're a lover of outdoor recreation, this is the place to be. If you are a bird watcher - our farm hosts Egrets, Osprey, Blue Heron, and we are constantly on the lookout for the Bald Eagle that reportedly lives nearby. Plenty of shade is available at all camp sites. The Camping Area is surrounded by woods and large pine trees throughout the camping area. Each of our campsites are can easily be assessed via car during dry weather. The Lake Farm is a working Farm with two lakes on the property and neighbors East Fork Lake State Park.
